Spotify Premium now offers a free subscription to Hulu’s ad-supported plan. The plan that goes into effect today will be available until June 10 “or while supplies last”. Existing, as well as new users of Spotify’s Premium streaming service in the US, can take advantage of this deal.
Hulu already lowered the cost of its ad-supported plan down to $5.99 from $7.99 a month, following Netflix’s recent price hike. Now, Spotify users will get a double blast of savings.
To start using Hulu on your existing Spotify Premium account, just visit the “Your Services” page and press “activate” on the Hulu banner. Users can enjoy the first month of Spotify Premium and Hulu for free, thereafter, it will cost $9.99 a month.
Besides, if you subscribe to Hulu and don’t yet have a Spotify account, call off your billing through Hulu, then set it up through Spotify to earn the discount.
After signing up to that bundle, the bill will be”automatically reduced” to the regular Spotify Premium price, Spotify said today.
Spotify’s $4.99-a-month student plan includes Hulu’s limited commercial plan and the Showtime channel alongside the music streaming service. Although, its new promotion doesn’t include any other free extras.
Further, this deal rules out those who have a family plan, but for everyone else in the US
